Entrance matting was required for a large London based retailer of toys for the main store entrance area, which attracts significant levels of footfall on a daily basis. The system chosen was Premier Track Tiles from COBA Flooring.
The Installation
As with most retail environments, it is important to minimise ‘down time’ during any refurbishment project. This of course applies to entrance matting. Ease of installation was a key reason why the busy toy store chose Premier Track Tiles for its main entrance. About Premier Track Entrance Tiles
Premier Track is a premium quality interlocking PVC/carpet tile system. The flexible base tile is manufactured from 100% recycled materials and the carpet insert is a high quality nylon, renowned for its crush-resistance and durability. The exposed PVC part of the tile provides scraping bars, and also features very small drainage holes, while the carpet wipes any remaining dirt and moisture from footwear. The system is ideal for installation in recessed matwells, which allows it to sit flush with the floor surface, making it suitable for push chairs, wheelchairs and wheeled trolleys. The tiles can be cut to shape on site with ease. Premier Track Tiles are also ‘high heel’ friendly making the entrance system a safe choice for retailers whose customers will naturally be wearing a variety of footwear styles.
