Lloyds Bank of Scotland were concerned that their entrance matting was under performing and not absorbing moisture off the bottom of people’s feet as they entered the bank. The matting was worn down and generally looking tired. Gordon and Halliday Contractors got in touch with us to help solve this problem. The brief included integrating the building number effectively into high performance entrance matting.

We were able to offer the ideal solutions; Plan.a entrance matting with alternating Needlepunch and Brush Inserts with a Precision Nib logomat incorporated, this combination will ensure dirt and moisture are effectively removed from footwear. They also opted for four loose lay Needlepunch walk off mats with edging to cope with extreme weather conditions.

The HSE recommends preventing floors from getting contaminated with dirt and moisture as the first course of action for stopping accidents. Slips are reported to be the most common type of accident to the public.

Well specified and correctly fitted entrance matting not only improves overall hygiene on indoor flooring, but also improves safety underfoot by trapping contaminants. Smooth flooring can quickly become a slip hazard when wet or dry debris are present.

Thanks again Max with the hand on material spec/design/supply. Another impressive install from the GnH grid mat team. I would highly recommend COBA for their service, production times and price for any future installs. Lloyd’s Vincent Street is looking the part now. Mark Edwards, Director, Gordon and Halliday
