Formerly, the Post Office in the village of Fleckney, Leicestershire, the Toast Office opened its doors during November 2017 seeing a new business dream for Jay and Dee Tank become reality. (Jay and Dee had been the familiar faces of the village Post Office since taking it over in 2006 so were already well-acquainted with Fleckney and the local community.)
The former Fleckney Post Office served its last customer in March 2017, before undergoing major structural changes and refurbishment transforming the building into a warm and welcoming café. The Toast Office serves speciality coffee and loose-leaf tea alongside homemade cakes and freshly prepared, locally sourced food.
Stylish entrance matting was required as part of the refurbishment. As a local entrance matting manufacturer also based in Fleckney, the Toast Office approached COBA Flooring to discuss their requirements. They were looking for a bespoke logo mat that would also cope with the anticipated footfall. They opted for Logomat Precision for its stylish appearance and cleaning functionality.
