A good scraper entrance mat should generally be suitable for outdoor use and is designed to scrape the bulk of dirt from footwear before entering a building. We recommend outdoor scraper mats with a tough, abrasive top surface either with flexible or rigid nodules, or ribbed/textured ‘scraping’ designs to remove dirt particles from footwear. Mats with open holes allow the dirt to fall through the surface.
